Yarns made from 100% natural fibres are unparalleled in terms of their temperature regulating qualities.
Whether I’m working on my own designs or recreating someone else’s pattern, a lot of thought goes in the choice of yarn.
Sometimes it happens that the financial aspect is the most dominant factor in making that choice, so wool it may be instead of alpaca or cotton instead of wool, and as long as the natural fibre requisite is met – we’re good.
Over the years I have worked with a number of yarns, cotton being my all time favourite.
