Love what I have seen of Wrapped in Jamie. So happy that it will continue and that you will not let the turkeys and naysayers get you down. Is it possible for me to get the blocks that have already been issued? Would like to catch up so I can make what will be a beautiful heirloom. Thank you for sharing your time, your talent and creativity with all of us. God bless you.
Pe Ba –
Thanks for your kind words, Teresa. Yes, the first patterns are available for free on the website. You can find an overview here: https://blacksheepcrochet.com/wrapped-in-jamie-cal-season-1-squares/. Please be aware that the first six patterns are written in the ‘Old Petranese’. They will be updated as we go and the New patterns will replace the old ones. From Square 7 on, we will use the ‘New Petranese’. The ‘New Petranese’ is explained in the Stitch Compendium, which is available as a free download from the shop.https://blacksheepcrochet.com/product/outlanding-stitch-compendium-for-the-wrapped-in-jamie-cal/

At the moment finishing square 6, I can assure you people around me, including the koffee-crocheter’s group to which I belong, find this work beautiful. It has been for me a great source of pleasure until now including this little bit of challenge too to understand and learn the stitches subtilities. That’s why I wil be glad with coming squares arrival. Thanks a lot for your astonishing work to you and your team
Pe Ba –
Thank you Isabelle, that’s very kind of you.

I cannot stop grasping what a challenge this must have been. Amidst difficult people who critisize and complain all the time, you came through victoriously. You are a genius and what you do with crochet art is unbelievably inspiring.Never give up. Your projects bring people from all over the world together.

Thank you for your kind words, Jacqueline.

Hi Petra, I would like to say a big thank you to you and all of your team for such a beautiful project. I’m multicraftual but often leaned towards knitting more than any other needle craft, that is until your Wrapped in Jamie CAL. I have never participated in a project that I find so enjoyable yet challenging.
I have to agree with Jacqueline, ignore those who seek to complain and criticise your hard work when they have had no hand in it themselves.
All of the best .
Pe Ba –
Thank you, Caroline. I have long moved on from the nay-sayers 🙂 However, some encouragement and appreciation like yours and others that have kindly supported me is always nice to hear. Thanks for that.

I don’t know if I will ever have the time to do the Jaime CAL, but it just makes me happy to look at it. I have practiced some of the techniques. They are beautifully detailed, making this heirloom CAL something that even a beginner can be proud of. Thank you. You are a wonderful artist.
